District III Assessment Request Form
Memo from Bill Miller, District III Director of Assessment
I have updated the Assessment Request form. Please note that referees are NOT to send
payment for the assessment with the request form. There were a number of instances last year in
which the checks bounced because they were more than 90 days old when deposited. This is a
particular problem when I start receiving assessment requests in June and July and the assessment
isn't completed and sent to Mr. Alvarez until October or November.
Thanks - Bill

CYSA North District III Youth Referees of the Year
The following awards were presented at the CYSA Youth Referee Awards by Tim Kirk - Distict III CYSA DYRA
and Tom Starr - State Youth Referee Administrator. Gary and Tessie King were also recognized for their years
of service as District III DYRAs:
District III Female Youth Referee of the Year
– Christine Walden (MSL)
District III Male Youth Referee of the Year
– Ben Rigel (SRSC)
Mustang continues its tradition of producing excellent youth referees. This is a testament
to all of our referees who provide mentoring and coaching to help our youth develop the skills
needed to succeed as a referee, as well as the players, coaches, and parents who (usually!)
provide a supportive environment in which they can develop their skills. Thanks
to everyone who has taken the time to work with our youth referees, and congratulations
to Christine and Ben!
