Mustang Boys Stampede Check In

Check In for the Mustang Boys Stampede will be on Friday August 24th beginning at 2 p.m. and ending at 6 p.m.   Check in will take place at the Mustang Soccer Complex located at 4680 Camino Tassajara in Danville.  Please make note of the change.

 

****All games on Friday, August 24th will begin at 4 p.m. or later due to the fact that school is back in session for many of the players******

 

Mustang Boys Stampede

Details of the check-in will be broadcast by general email to all accepted teams. Check-in can be facilitated by any team representative. Teams must provide the required credentials including 7 copies of your official roster, laminated player passes, and signed medical release forms. Teams from outside CYSA-North (USYSA) or international teams must also provide approved travel papers, which must include a roster listing all players authorized to travel by that team’s state or national association. Mixing of affiliation (US Club & USYSA) within documents is not allowed. 

 

Failure to check-in will result in automatic disqualification (without a refund of the fee) from the Tournament. At the discretion of the Tournament Director, a team may be allowed to compete as a “Guest Team” (See Guest Team Rule). Games not played will be classified as “Forfeits and Byes.”

Age Groups 

U9-U17 teams will begin play on Friday, August 24th, after 4pm, and continue through Sunday, August 26th. 


Teams will be placed in 8 team or 12 team flights in which semi-finals will be played on Sunday morning with championship matches on Sunday afternoon. 

 

There will be approximately 100 teams accepted into this tournament.


Fields

Tournament fields will include 6 regulation synthetic fields as well as a multitude of natural turf facilities.  The new $10 million Mustang Soccer Complex in Danville has been completed and will be used.

 

 

Team Registration

When you fill out your team application, please include your roster.  This facilitates a quicker check-in.  Please make sure to write down your team's unique registration number and PIN number.  This will allow you to edit your roster and/or contact information at a later date.


Fees

U9 – U12:       $525

U13 – U14:     $625

U15 – U17:     $725


Credit cards will be the only accepted payment method for application fees. Credit cards will be charged immediately when applications are processed. If a team is not accepted a refund (credit) will be issued. If a team absolutely needs to pay by check, then you can do so by contacting Kim Wilkins to
make this arrangement.

 

Late Registration
Teams applying after June 30 will be assessed a $50 late fee and be placed on a waiting list. Credit cards will be the only accepted form of payment for late registration. It is at the sole discretion of the Stampede Tournament Committee to offer placement into the Tournament. If acceptance does not occur, the late fee will not be refunded.


Important Deadlines

  • Early Registration by April 15
  • Early Acceptance by May 5
  • Final Registration by June 15
  • Early Withdrawal deadline *June 15
  • Final Acceptance by June 25
  • Final Withdrawal deadline  **June 25

Refunds will be made to all teams not accepted (credit cards will be credited and/or checks will be returned.)


Teams withdrawing from the tournament must send an email to Fred Wilson prior
 to June 15.

*Refunds will be provided to teams that withdraw from the Tournament prior to the June 25 deadline, net of a $50 withdrawal charge.

 

**Teams that drop after the June 25 deadline will forfeit their entire application fee.


Tournament or Game Cancellation
A cancellation fee of one-fifth of the entry fee will be withheld from each team’s refund if the tournament is canceled as a result of weather, acts of terrorism or acts of God after June 22 and up to the conclusion of the Tournament. The Tournament Director or Tournament Referee may suspend a tournament match for any circumstance in consideration of player safety or potential field damage.

PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:
All applicants will be approved or denied acceptance by the Stampede Tournament Selection Committee based on national ranking bodies and team performance records, with priority acceptance given to teams with strong results in State, Regional and National Cup Tournaments. It is at the sole discretion of the Tournament Selection Committee which teams are accepted and what brackets to establish.

Teams from outside Northern California can request early acceptance into the Tournament upon completion of their application and receipt of their payment (please contact the Tournament Director/Coordinator). The Tournament Director will have the sole authority regarding the acceptance status of any team.

 

Tournament Website
This website shall be the final reference for all schedules, scores, rules, policies and procedures. Any conflicts between this site and other published information shall default to this site. The Stampede Tournament Committee maintains the right to independently make new rules or regulations on the website at anytime.
