With 33 years of great experiences, The Mustang Stampede Tournaments have become one of the premier youth tournaments in the West. With new premier teams coming from throughout the United States with each new season to participate, you should join in the action. In previous years, teams from Alaska to Florida, from the Northwest to the Mexican Border have all been coming here to play in beautiful Northern California. In order to provide an even better tournament experience, the Mustang Girls Stampede has been divided into two separate events. We are looking into offering a fully online check-in. We will post this information as soon as possible if this change is incorporated.

Check in will take place at the Mustang "Muscle Milk" Soccer Complex located at 4680 Camino Tassajara in Danville from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 8th.
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING IF YOU ARE A CYSA TEAM
TRAVEL TO GAMES SANCTIONED BY OTHER US SOCCER FEDERATION AFFILIATED ORGANIZATIONS
CYSA teams may travel to tournaments, jamborees and festivals that have been sanctioned by a US Soccer Federation affiliated Member Organization (other than a US Youth Soccer State Association). Sanctioned games include sanctioned tournament, jamboree and festival games that have been approved by the hosting US Soccer Federation Organization. CYSA teams traveling to such sanctioned competitions may do so by completing and submitting CYSA Online eTravel Form:
You have been accepted, what happens next:
- Do not wait until the last minute if you intend to use Guest Players.
- Do not wait until the last minute to file the Notification if you are traveling to an Out of State US Youth Soccer Tournament (File date must be 1 day prior to travel) or a Non-US Youth Soccer Tournament. (File date must be 5 days prior to travel). Both forms have specific information regarding this process.

Such permission will be in effect provided that every team member and guest player associated with the team traveling is in good standing with CYSA and that the team participates in the sanctioned competition with US Youth Soccer/CYSA team and player credentials for each player, guest player and registered team official as required by CYSA and approved by the respective CYSA District Registrar.
A team’s failure to properly notify CYSA at least five business days prior to traveling, in accordance with the established protocol, could delay and/or invalidate payment on any insurance claims for the player and/or team arising from participation in the tournament games to which the team traveled.
Mustang Girls Stampede Tournament
Details of the check-in will be broadcast by general email to all accepted teams. Check-in can be facilitated by any team representative. Teams must provide the required credentials including 7 copies of your official roster, laminated player passes, and signed medical release forms. Teams from outside CYSA-North (USYSA) or international teams must also provide approved travel papers, which must include a roster listing all players authorized to travel by that team’s state or national association. Mixing of affiliation (US Club & USYSA) within documents is not allowed.
Failure to check-in will result in automatic disqualification (without a refund of the fee) from the Tournament. At the discretion of the Tournament Director, a team may be allowed to compete as a “Guest Team” (See Guest Team Rule). Games not played will be classified as “Forfeits and Byes.”

We will begin play on Saturday, August 9, at 8:00am and continue through Monday, August 11.
Semi-finals and championships will be played on Monday, August 11. Most championships will be scheduled to begin before or at 2:30pm.
There will be approximately 88 teams accepted into this tournament.
Tournament fields will include regulation synthetic fields.
When you fill out your team application, please include your roster. This facilitates a quicker check-in. Please make sure to write down your team’s unique registration number and PIN number. This will allow you to edit your roster and/or contact information at a later date.
U12 - U13: $895
U14 - U15: $945
Credit cards will be the only accepted payment method for application fees. Credit cards will be charged immediately when applications are processed. If a team is not accepted a refund (credit) will be issued. If a team absolutely needs to pay by check, then you can do so by contacting Kim Wilkins to make this arrangement.
Teams applying after May 31 will be assessed a $50 late fee and be placed on a waiting list. Credit cards will be the only accepted form of payment for late registration. It is at the sole discretion of the Stampede Tournament Committee to offer placement into the Tournament. If acceptance does not occur, the late fee will not be refunded.
- To be considered for Early Acceptance, registration must be completed by April 26
- Early Acceptance by May 5
- Final Acceptance by June 15
- Early Withdrawal deadline *June 15
- Final Withdrawal deadline **June 25
Teams withdrawing from the tournament must send an email to Kim Wilkins prior to June 15. Failure to meet this deadline will follow the policy set below:
- *Refunds will be provided to teams that withdraw from the tournament prior to the June 15 deadline, net of a $50 withdrawal charge.
- **Teams that drop after the June 25 deadline will forfeit their entire application fee.
Refunds will be made to all teams not accepted (credit cards will be credited and/or checks will be returned.)
Tournament or Game Cancellation
A cancellation fee of one-fifth of the entry fee will be withheld from each team’s refund if the tournament is canceled as a result of weather, acts of terrorism, or acts of God after June 22 and up to the conclusion of the tournament. The Tournament Director or Tournament Referee may suspend a tournament match for any circumstance in consideration of player safety or potential field damage.
PLEASE READ AND UNDERSTAND THE FOLLOWING:
All applicants will be approved or denied acceptance by the Stampede Tournament Selection Committee based on national ranking bodies and team performance records, with priority acceptance given to teams with strong results in State, Regional and National Cup Tournaments. It is at the sole discretion of the Tournament Selection Committee which teams are accepted and what brackets to establish.
Teams from outside Northern California can request early acceptance into the tournament upon completion of their application and receipt of their payment (please contact the Tournament Director/Coordinator). The Tournament Director will have the sole authority regarding the acceptance status of any team.
This website shall be the final reference for all schedules, scores, rules, policies, and procedures. Any conflicts between this site and other published information will default to this site. The Stampede Tournament Committee maintains the right to independently make new rules or regulations on the website at anytime.
